A digital signal receiver equipped with a smart card reader is provided to enable a user to use multimedia data and storage by installing the smart card reader to the digital signal processor such as a mobile phone, a DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) receiver, a navigator, and a GPS(Global Positioning System) terminal. A controller controls data transceiving through a connection terminal. A smart card inlet receives the smart card(3). A central processor receives and controls smart card information received through a multi-smart card reader(2). The multi-smart card reader(1) is installed to a PCB(Printed Circuit Board) or a housing of the digital signal receiver.
