A composite box culvert is provided to increase durability by manufacturing in a composite structure with FRP and reinforced concrete, and a box culvert construction method is provided to construct a box culvert safely and strongly by connecting composite box culverts longitudinally, placing FRP on the inside and outside of each connection of the composite box culverts and injecting resin mortar to the inside and outside. A composite box culvert(20) is formed by manufacturing an FRP panel in a rectangular case and inserting the FRP panel into a box-shaped outer mold, and then installing an inner mold to the inside, fixing the FRP panel with the inner mold using a double-sided tape, inserting a back-up material between the outer mold and the inner mold, arranging bars in a space between the outer mold and the FRP panel and placing concrete, and then stripping off the outer mold and the inner mold. A construction method of a box culvert comprises the steps of: forming an underground space; forming a concrete foundation on the bottom of the underground space; inputting the composite box culverts to the underground space; connecting the composite box culverts by installing a PC strand anchorage(6) in the middle of the composite box culvert and connecting front and rear composite box culverts using eye bolts(4) longitudinally; and sealing up each connection of the composite box culverts by placing FRP(2) on the inside and outside of the connection of the composite box culverts to have an FRP panel and injecting resin mortar to the inside and outside of the connection of the composite box culverts.
