Steering wheel device, e.g. for a boat, comprising a steering wheel hub (5) which is rotatably mounted on a steering wheel shaft (9) and is lockable onto the steering wheel shaft by means of a plug inserted into a bore (21) in the steering wheel hub and axially fixed therein, said first plug (23) engaging in a cavity (22) in an element (6) non-rotatably joined to the steering wheel shaft. Said plug can be removed and replaced with a lockable blind plug (24) which is shorter than the first plug and does not engage in the element joined to the steering wheel shaft. This means that the steering wheel is disengaged and there is no steering function with the steering wheel. |
