The sensor (1) has a case (3) including a housing (7) to receive a thermistor (9) measuring temperature of a liquid to be monitored. The case has another housing (13) to receive a resistive probe (17) that is partially immerged in the liquid for measuring a level of the liquid. Connecting wires (25, 27) connect the thermistor and the probe to a power supply and a measurement signal utilizing unit. A common connecting wire (23) connects the thermistor and the probe to ground. The probe is formed of a nickel-chromium wire with ends welded to attachments (19, 21) made of metal.
