The element has identical metallic slabs including elongated co-planar lateral branches (44, 46, 48, 50) extending in different directions. Each branch forms an elongated segment of a set of frames (21). The branches extend from a central core (43) forming framework centers (22), where each frame extends between the centers, and one of the branches possesses lengths higher than 600 millimeter. The branches have fixation orifices that fix a seat, a shelf, a luggage rack and an inner fitting, in a rail road vehicle e.g. railway passenger car. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method of manufacturing a framework element (2) a method of manufacturing a framework.
