The device has two spacers (12, 13) for respectively connecting a hub carrier and an A-arm and for connecting a tie rod (10) and the hub carrier. A supporting mount (7) supporting a suspension spring (8) is arranged at an upper end of a Pseudo MacPherson strut (5) which is supported against a body (6) of a motor vehicle e.g. private car, and against the spring. The tie rod is connected to a steering system of the vehicle. An independent claim is also included for a method for adapting a front end of a motor vehicle.
