<p>The tilting mechanism for a fold-away sofa and bed comprises a main lever (23) connected to the bed frame (4) and an electric or hydraulic control cylinder (24). It has at least one bar (25) with one end able to pivot and slide along the main lever and a second end (25B) articulated to an arm (27) controlling the movement of the sofa seat (63) between a deployed position in which it can be used and a lowered position to fit under the bed. The bar is pivoted to a carriage (29) that can slide perpendicular to the axis (X-X') of the bed frame.</p> |
