A shift control device for a manual transmission is provided to improve operation reliability by simplifying a connecting structure of a shift cable which transmits a manipulating force of a shift knob to the manual transmission. A shift cable is connected to a shift knob to transmit a manipulating force of the shift knob which is disposed in a cabin. A sun gear(121) is installed on a torsion shaft to operate a shifting member which is disposed in a manual transmission. A planetary gear(122) has a rotary shaft which is rotatably installed on the sun gear. A shift lever(110) is meshed with the planetary gear, and is connected to the shaft cable.
