An auxiliary structure for assembling a height adjusting guide member of a pillar trim is provided to prevent erroneous assembly by restraining the position of a sliding cover unit during assembling between the height adjusting guide member and a sliding cover unit. A pillar of a vehicle includes a guide member arranged in the pillar so as to adjust the height of a seat belt, and has a guide pin, and a cover unit(20) having a hole for insertion of the guide pin. The cover unit is slidable in a vertical direction together with the guide member. An auxiliary structure for assembling the height adjusting guide member has an auxiliary member(130) protruded from a pillar trim(10) so as to support a top of the cover unit. The auxiliary member has a notch(133a) which is torn when load over a predetermined size is applied. The auxiliary member includes a first leg(133) having the notch, a second leg connected to the first leg through a horizontal member(131), and a third leg(134) connected to the first leg through the horizontal member. The third leg has a stopper rib formed in the vicinity of a locking protrusion(120) protruded from the pillar trim.
