An establishment of tollgates for an expressway is provided to reduce the area of an exit section for vehicles to enter an ordinary road from an expressway and to prevent traffic congestion by arranging many tollgates in the oblique direction. A tollgate establishment(100) for an expressway is formed by installing tollgates(G1~Gn) at 1-meter intervals from the first roadway to the outermost roadway of the expressway in the oblique direction, and installing a control office in the vicinity of the tollgates to manage and control traffic. The tollgates are installed at an exit section(300) for vehicles to enter an ordinary road from the expressway, wherein the first tollgate installed on the first roadway is arranged in a straight line along a road to make vehicles go forward along the central line after paying the toll, the second tollgate installed on the second roadway is arranged to make an exit inclined toward the first traffic lane at an angle of 20 degrees to secure the space for vehicles going forward after paying the toll at the first tollgate, and the remnant tollgates are arranged to make exits inclined at an angle of 35~40 degrees to let vehicles change a traffic lane and go forward safely when entering an ordinary road after paying the toll at the first and second tollgates.
