The device has a support (4) comprising reversible fixing units (6) for fixing a spare wheel (3) on the support, where the fixing units are constituted by screw/nut system. The support is mounted on a body shell (1) of a motor vehicle, where the body shell is articulated around a rotation axle (7) parallel to a longitudinal axis (X) of the motor vehicle. Two elastic studs (8) are made of elastomer and arranged on both sides of the rotation axle, where the device cooperates with the body by the elastic studs.
