A magnetic levitation sunroof system is provided to ensure reliability and durability by preventing an abnormal operation from occurring in a sunroof driving section. A magnetic levitation sunroof system comprises a sunroof frame(2) fixed to an opening of a vehicle and a rail frame(10) fixed to the sunroof frame. A rail(20) is fixed to the rail frame(10). An electromagnet section(30) provided with a plurality of induction coil sections(31) is fixed to a mounting groove(21) extending in the longitudinal direction of the rail. A controller controls the polarity of magnetic force generated in the induction coil sections by applying electric current to the induction coil sections and controlling the direction of the applied electric current. A permanent magnet section(40) moves a sunroof glass(60) through interaction with the force generated in the induction coil sections.
