PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a shifting control faithful to the intent of a driver without increasing man-hours for setting and data amount of control characteristic even in the case where a plurality of operating modes with different required driving force are set for an accelerator opening. SOLUTION: An E/G ECU22 converts a present accelerator openingθacc into the accelerator opening equivalent to criteria mode set beforehand (reversely reckoned accelerator openingθaccr). A T/M ECU23 realizes, by using the reversely reckoned accelerator openingθaccr as the parameter at the time of gear change, the shifting control faithful to the intent of a driver using the control characteristic common among modes without setting, for every mode, map etc. (control characteristic) for calculating various gear change control information at the time of gear change.
