<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems wherein the increase in the vibration of an optical disk caused by high-speed rotation, increase in heat generation caused by a motor to make the optical disk rotate, by providing the output of a laser light source, while increasing the data transfer speed of the optical disk device. <P>SOLUTION: An optical pickup is cooled down by preparing a ventilation path inside an optical pickup, connecting the space between the optical disk and a casing top cover, where the pressure becomes negative, when the optical disk rotates, to the ventilation path in side the optical pickup through at least partly deformable tube, and by utilizing the air flow in the ventilation path induced by pressure difference. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
