<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner container constituted so that toner aggregated before the toner container is attached to the image forming apparatus can be surely stirred with simple constitution and process. <P>SOLUTION: The toner container configured to be detachably attached to the image forming apparatus includes: a housing for storing the toner therein; a stirring means for stirring the toner stored in the housing; a stirring shaft that rotatably supports the stirring means, and also, projects from one end of the housing; and a locking member rotatably arranged at one end of the housing, and for fixing the housing to the image forming apparatus or releasing the fixed state of the housing with the rotation thereof. When the locking member rotates from the fixed state releasing position to the fixing position, the locking member engages with the stirring shaft, so as to cooperatively rotate the stirring shaft, and when the locking member finishes rotating to the fixing position, the locking member is released from engaging with the stirring shaft. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
