<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a human chromosome or fragment thereof, a chimeric non-human animal containing the chromosome or fragment thereof, and a method for producing the chromosome or fragment thereof or the animal. <P>SOLUTION: The isolated human chromosome or fragment thereof is disclosed, which allows a human gene to express in a non-human animal and is not less than 1 Mb in base length, wherein the chromosome or fragment thereof is selected from the group consisting of human chromosome 11 fragment, human chromosome 4 fragment and human chromosome 22 or fragment thereof.
