PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear motor where magnetic pole teeth can be shared by a single-sided linear motor and a double-sided linear motor, and the adjacent magnetic pole teeth can easily be connected by sliding the magnetic pole teeth. SOLUTION: The magnetic pole teeth 31 have first magnetic pole teeth 311 and second magnetic pole teeth 312. The first magnetic pole teeth 311 have a pair of a first core member and a second core member, which have yokes different in height sizes and teeth having same height sizes. The first and second core members are laminated on one side so that the respective teeth parts are arranged. First and second core members paired with the laminated first and second core members are laminated on the other side. The first and second core members on both sides are connected so that the yokes different in the height sizes abut each other. The engagement of the first magnetic pole teeth 311 is engaged with a bonding part of the second magnetic pole teeth 312. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
