PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid influence of a radiated electromagnetic wave on an antenna to which a line converter guiding an electromagnetic wave propagated in a waveguide etc., to a plane line such as a microstrip line is applied. SOLUTION: A slot 24 guides an electromagnetic wave to a microstrip line constituted including a line conductor W1 and a ground conductor plate 26, and also radiates the electromagnetic wave into space. The electromagnetic wave guided to the microstrip line is radiated from resonance parts PA1 to PAn constituted including patch type conductors W1 to Wn and the ground conductor plate 26. The length of the line conductor W1 from a long side of a part, formed by projecting the slot 24 on an upper surface Se1, on the side of the patch type conductor P1 to a side of the patch type conductor P1 where the line conductor W1 is connected and the line conductors W1 to Wn are determined preferably so that a maximum radiation direction of the electromagnetic wave of an array antenna 1 is the same with a normal direction of the upper surface Se1.
