PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on demand link producing system which can set a special new link to a web page by a user. SOLUTION: The on demand link producing system 10 includes a client 12 and a server 14. When a character string is selected on a web page displayed at the client 12 by the user, a list of the web pages related to the character string is provided by the server 14. When the related web page is selected, a post-attached link is set to the selected character string and the information of the character string is registered in a post-attached link database 18. Afterward, the web page is read by the client 12, the information of the post-attached link is provided by the server 14, and the post-attached link is set to the character string of the web page. When the post-attached link is selected by the client 12, a list of the links to the web pages related to the character string of the post-attached link is provided by the server 14.
