PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-driven impact hammer with improved impact capacity for a steel pipe or a pole. SOLUTION: An iron mass weight 15 is driven in the ground, by applying impact to a head of the steel pipe and the pole, by feeding compressed air to a pneumatic cylinder 4 in an air-driven impact hammer machine. An operation panel 24 for performing operation of vertical motion, attains a high speed and amplification of impact force, by feeding a doubled air quantity in the cylinder 4, by using an air auxiliary tank deice, while automatically controlling switching in the air supply direction to the cylinder.
