A button plate for a personal portable terminal is provided to minimize the thickness of an input unit of the personal portable terminal by implementing the button plate using high hardness material. A button plate for a personal portable terminal includes a print film(120), a button sheet(110), and a rubber pad layer(130). The print film includes button areas for inputting key. The button sheet, which is formed under the print film, with high hardness material includes button holes corresponding to the button areas. The rubber pad layer is formed under the button sheet. The rubber pad layer, print film, and button sheet are formed as one unit. The button sheet is made of metal or high hardness plastic.
