<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and smoothly perform assembling work by pressing a bearing in a housing. <P>SOLUTION: A circumferential groove 2 is formed on the outer peripheral surface of an outer ring 1 of the rolling bearing, a projection 3 extending in the circumferential direction and continuous like a ring is provided on the base of each circumferential groove 2, and a pre-load adjusting resin band 4 projected outward in the radial direction over the outer peripheral surface is provided in the state of being fitted to the circumferential groove 2 with the projection 3, and clearance-fitted and fixed to the housing 5. The projection 3 supports external force applied to the resin band 4 in contact with the housing 5, whereby the whole or the principal part of the resin band 4 is prevented from shifting in the circumferential groove 2. Thus, the edge of the resin band 4 is not projected from the edge of the circumferential groove 2 outward, so that a rolling bearing can be pressed in the housing 5 with small force as much as possible. When polyamide 9T is adopted as forming material for the resin band, satisfactory creep preventive performance can be obtained even in the high-temperature operation condition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
