<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to change the pattern and stroke of swing in a balance training apparatus which imparts exercise loads simulating horse riding to a subject by swinging a seat where the subject sits. <P>SOLUTION: A swing mechanism 3 comprises a motor 13, a box body 3f housing it, a first drive shaft 14 rotationally driven by the motor 13, elevating and lowering levers 17 and 18 having shaft holes 17a and 18a to which the eccentric shafts 14c and 14d are freely rotatably fitted, a pedestal 19 which is supported by the elevating and lowering levers 17 and 18 and to which the seat is loaded, and a regulation shaft 16 which supports the elevating and lowering levers 17 and 18 to the box body 3f at a position separated from the first drive shaft 14 and prevents falling around the eccentric shafts 14c and 14d of the elevating and lowering levers 17 and 18. Thus, vertical swing and back and forth swing are generated, and a circular or elliptic orbit in the side view is drawn. Also, by lifting the pedestal 19 by a freely extendible and contractible lift 20, the pattern of the swing is changed and the stroke is increased. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
