<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting member and a new pipe connecting construction method, heightening safety and enabling piping construction work only within a lot possession section on the upstream side in construction work for connecting a new pipe to the existing pipe member. <P>SOLUTION: The connecting member 1 has a communicating member having a hole 11, one end of which is connected to the existing pipe member and an interrupt member 20 interrupting the hole part 11. In the new pipe connecting construction method, the connecting member 1 is driven into sediment from the peripheral position of the distal end of a branch joint, the interrupt member 20 is inserted in the connecting member 1, one end part of the connecting member is connected to the end part of the existing pipe member, the other end part of the connecting member 1 driven into sediment is cut, a synthetic resin-made connecting pipe is connected to the other end part of the connecting member 1, the interrupt member 20 in the connecting member 1 is moved to the distal end side in the connecting pipe, one end side of the connecting pipe on the upstream side form the interrupt member 20 is crushed to cut off gas circulation in the connecting pipe, the interrupt member 20 in the crushed connecting pipe is removed from the connecting pipe, and the new pipe member is connected to the connecting pipe, thereby releasing crushing of the connecting pipe. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
