<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disease management system and method adapted to the condition of disease for every patient. <P>SOLUTION: Rules defined by a physician for a patient are stored in a patient's blood glucose metering system or the like and activated when a lifestyle event or blood glucose result is expected or recorded.
