<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an office desk and a system of confirming desk positions and presence at desks in accordance with changes in rearrangement of office desks. <P>SOLUTION: ID information of ID chips attached to a floor carpet or a floor itself, which is read by ID readers of leg parts of desks, is sent to a management server on a network, thereby automating position management in installing, adding, moving desks in an office.
