<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indwelling needle assembly capable of securely preventing a liquid from flowing out from the base end of an outer needle hub in a disassembly condition where an inner needle is drawn out form an outer needle. <P>SOLUTION: The indwelling needle assembly 1 has the inner needle 4 having a sharp needle tip 41, an inner needle hub 5 secured to a base end portion of the inner needle 4, the hollow outer needle 2 through which the inner needle 4 is inserted, the outer needle hub 3 secured to the base end portion of the outer needle 2 and having a convex portion 34 to which a tube 7 is connected, a partition wall portion 8 arranged in the outer needle hub 3 so as to separate the space in the outer hub 3 to a first space 311 to which the convex portion 34 is opened and the second space 312 in the base end side from the first space 311 and in which a hole 81 through which the inner needle 4 can be inserted is formed, a flexible tube portion 110 secured to the partition wall portion 8 and capable of elastically deforming, and a seal means 100 having a leaf spring 120 bending the flexible tube portion 8 and closing the lumen of the flexible tube portion 111 when drawing out the inner needle 4 inserted into the hole 81 of the partition wall portion 8 and the lumen 111 of the flexible tube portion 110. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
