PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network storage device for communicating data between a network and a storage part. SOLUTION: The network storage device 2 has an embedded system processor 8 for managing a storage space of the storage part 6; a network interface part 12; and a storage part management processor 10 constituting storage data communication to communicate storage data. The network interface part 12 includes a hardware processor 20 implemented in exclusive hardware for processing data. The network interface part 12 additionally includes a control data interface 24 and a storage data interface 28.
