PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an application being enjoyed on a main display unit of a communication terminal device being used by a user at present from being disturbed by notification processing due to an incoming telephone call, mail reception or alarm sounding. SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a communication terminal device comprising a sub display unit and an independent sub key operating unit dedicated to the sub display unit, and the communication terminal device includes a control unit for controlling display on the main display unit and the sub display unit and processing at a main key operating unit and the sub key operating unit. The control unit detects whether an application is being operated for the main display unit and if it is being operated, both the main display unit and the sub display unit are effectively utilized by displaying an interruption notification or the like on the sub display unit.
