PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a concrete method of miniaturizing a mobile electronic device equipped with a high-performance camera by structuring the mobile electronic device so as to be advantageous to assembling the high-performance camera into a casing together with its peripheral components. SOLUTION: The mobile electronic device includes a first casing 12 incorporating electronic components and a second casing 13, the first casing 12 and the second casing 13 being linked swingably through a hinge structure 11, wherein the hinge structure 11 is configured by fitting a hollow projecting part 14 protruded from the first casing 12 into a recessed part 15 provided at an edge of the second casing 13 and journaling the parts rotatably, within the projecting part 14 of the first casing 12, there are arranged a first substrate 34 electrically connected with electronic components 29 and a connector 27b to which a first cable disposed out of the second casing 13 is connected, the connector 27b is bonded to the face of the first substrate 34 at a side of a protruding direction of the projecting part 14, and the electronic components 29 are disposed at an opposite side of the protruding direction.
