摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve light transmittance in an in-plane switching mode active matrix liquid crystal display device by driving even a liquid crystal on the upper side of a common electrode. SOLUTION: In the in-plane switching mode active matrix liquid crystal display device having pixel electrodes and common electrodes arranged as a multiple layer across a protective film, the pixel electrodes are arranged so as to cover the whole pixel opening section, and the common electrodes are arranged with a comb shape along a data line in the pixel opening section and arranged via an organic film pattern-formed only directly on the data line in a section directly above the data line.
