PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving operation auxiliary device for a vehicle by which a driver can surely recognize control during operation. SOLUTION: This driving operation auxiliary device for a vehicle is configured to calculate a risk potential to an obstacle based on the obstacle circumstances of the periphery ofa present vehicle. In a system A, RP transmission control for transmitting the risk potential to the driver is carried out with an accelerator pedal reaction force and a driving/braking force, and in a system B, preceding vehicle follow-up traveling control for controlling the driving/braking force is carried out so that the present vehicle can follow up the preceding vehicle. In the operation OFF status of this system A, and in the operation ON status of this system B, when the control of this system B is overridden due to the stepping operation of the accelerator pedal, the accelerator pedal reaction force is lightened, and the driver is notified of that the system A does not operate.
