PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: concerning a connection structure between substrates mounted on a panel type display apparatus, miniaturization of the substrates was difficult because of the restrictions on connector positions for flat cables. SOLUTION: When connecting a control substrate 23 installed on the backside 26 of a liquid crystal module 20 to two driving substrate circuits 24a, 24b installed on the right and left areas on the upper side face 25 of the liquid crystal module 20 through a flat cable 30, an extending direction of each flat cable 30 connecting between substrates is shifted almost in parallel and bent approximately at a right angle by folding the cable so that the cable face may lap halfway. Therefore, it is possible to make a connection between connectors of the respective substrates which are to be connected via one flat cable 30 and are located off the mutual extension lines along the surface of the liquid crystal module 20.
