INFRARED FILTER AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the handling of an infrared filter when it is manufactured or discarded. SOLUTION: The infrared filter is provided with: a substrate 2 transmitting infrared light; and Ge films and YF3films which are alternately laminated on the surface of the substrate 2 in multilayer. As a result, ZnS is not used when the multilayer film structure is formed, thereby facilitating the handling the infrared filter when it is manufactured or discarded. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
