PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flaw inspection method that shortens the inspection time and can suppress reduction in the inspection accuracy. SOLUTION: This flaw inspection method comprises a step of focusing ultrasonic waves incident on the bottom surface of a clad material 10, when the ultrasonic waves are made to come into the clad material 10 formed of at least two or more different metal layers, and a step of making the ultrasonic waves incident into the clad material 10 and detecting at least a bottom echo reflected on the bottom surface of the clad material 10.
