PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clocking system or the like capable of properly synchronizing time with a reference time, even when a start signal cannot be input directly. SOLUTION: A strobe 20 emits light in accordance with a running time used as the reference time, and a photographing device 30 photographs a slit image including a light emission point. A clocking part 53 of an image recording device 50 clocks time deviated a little from the running time. A control part 54 synthesizes time data of the time clocked by the clocking part 53 with the slit image photographed by the photographing device 30 and arrayed in time series. An offset calculation part 56 reads out the synthesized slit image from an image storage part 55, and calculates an offset which is a time difference between the time by the clocking part 53 and the running time from the relation between a position of the light emission point in the slit image and a position of time data of a time corresponding to a light emission timing.
