PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent liquid compression in an entire compression process and attaining such prevention of liquid compression with a simple construction. SOLUTION: Relief ports 43 are provided in a fixed scroll 15, communicate with intermediate compression chambers 27 except a radially-innermost compression chamber 27 communicating with a discharge port 29 and a compression chamber 27 formed at a radially-outermost position and open a relief valve to let fluid flow out from the compression chambers 27 when fluid pressure in the compression chambers becomes equal to or larger than a predetermined pressure. A leakage flow path 55 for leaking the fluid to an intake chamber side to prevent an over-compression condition in the compression chambers 27 is formed in a section from at least an intake closing position radially outermost of the spiral laps 19, 25 to an orbital angle position where the relief ports 43 communicate with the compression chambers 27.
