PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axial flow blower capable of facilitating production and processing of cylinders, reducing consumption power and improving the efficiency. SOLUTION: The axial flow blower includes a cylindrical casing 3, an electric motor 7 arranged in the casing 3 by a support, impellers 8, 9 attached to a rotary shaft of the motor 7, and the cylinders 10, 11 arranged immediately in front of the impellers 8, 9. The cylinders 10, 11 comprise top end parts 10a, 11a and cylindrical rear end parts 10b, 11b joined thereto, respectively. The outer peripheral surfaces of the cylinders 10, 11 are formed in such a manner that a cross-sectional area of a flow path defined by the outer peripheral surfaces of the cylinders 10, 11 and an inner surface of the cylindrical casing 3 changes at a constant rate.
