PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil-free air compressor more reduced in noise, capable of preventing the sound absorbing material of a discharge pipe part from being deteriorated and burned out, and increased in reliability. SOLUTION: This oil-free air compressor has a suction pipe 9 connected to the suction port 2 of a compressor body 1 and a discharge pipe 12 connected to the discharge port 3. A rotor is driven by a motor 6. The oil-free air compressor comprises a first sound absorbing material 10 wrapped around each of the discharge pipe 12 and the suction pipe 9, a metal sound isolating material 11 wrapped around the outer peripheral part of the first sound absorbing material 10, a second sound absorbing material 10 surrounding the compressor body 1, and the discharge port 3 and the suction port 2, and a metal sound isolating cover 19 surrounding the outside of the second sound absorbing material 10.
