PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eaves gutter connection device which facilitates engagement of a front lug engaging portion of an internal joint member with an eaves gutter, and positively holds the engagement. SOLUTION: According to the structure of the internal joint member 2 of the eaves gutter connection device for use in connection by butting the eaves gutters 1 against each other in an eaves longitudinal direction, when the front lug engaging portion 24 is inserted into an opening 13 formed in a front lug 11 of the eaves gutter 1, a front surface of a taper 26a of a projective rib 26 makes contact with a corner portion 12c of an upper end 12 of the front lug 11, and at the same time the projective rib 26 is precedently inserted into the opening 13 formed in the front lug 11. As a result the front lug engaging portion 24 does not collide on a side surface 12a of the upper end 12 of the front lug 11, and therefore difficulty in insertion of the front lug engaging portion is eliminated. Further the shape for holding the engagement of the front lug engaging portion 24 is not changed, and therefore an engagement holding force is ensured. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
