PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nano-particle arranging method of arranging nano-particles on a base board having a large area uniformly with high density. SOLUTION: The arranging method for nano-particles comprises a step to form a trench having a channel structure by an upper base plate and a lower base plate, a step to acquire a nano-particle dispersed liquid by dispersing nano-particles in a solvent, a step to put the trench in contact with the nano-particle dispersed liquid and allow it to flow into the channel structure with the aid of the capillary force, and a step to evaporate the solvent.
