PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polishing device that can properly correct machining conditions for polishing in a lens polishing device, and a polishing method using the same. SOLUTION: At least either of a polishing pan 16 and a lens 15 that are pressed in the direction of approaching to each other is rotated. A machining liquid 40 is supplied to a contact part between the polishing pan and the lens. The polishing pan and the lens are reciprocated relative to each other. Consequently, it is possible to execute the polishing of the machining curved face 15a of the lens. The lens polishing device has a workpiece information input part 46a for inputting lens machining information, a correction-command input part 46b for inputting a command regarding a direction in which a curvature radius of the machining curved face of the lens becomes large or a direction in which the curvature radius becomes small, a calculation part 47a for calculating a concrete machining-condition correction value corresponding to command contents inputted from the correction-command input part, and a control part 47b that sets correction machining conditions with respect to the lens by adding the machining_condition correction value calculated by the calculation part to the machining conditions based on the lens machining information inputted from the workpiece information input part.
