PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress power consumption of a battery 10 by boosting a supply voltage from the battery 10 to an appropriate voltage value corresponding to an operation mode by a boosting means. SOLUTION: The electric pot comprises: an inner container 4 for housing liquid; a motor-driven pump 7 for discharging the liquid housed in the inner container 4 to the outside; the boosting means 16 for boosting the voltage from the battery 10 and applying it to the motor-driven pump 7; a voltage detection means 8 for detecting the value of the voltage boosted in the boosting means 16 and applied to the motor-driven pump 7; and a control means 17 for adjusting an applying voltage to the motor-driven pump 7 by controlling the drive of the boosting means 16 on the basis of the voltage value detected by the voltage detection means 8.
