The instrument (10) has a flexible insertion part (20), which is guided by an endoscope into a body cavity. Two longitudinally elongated electrodes (11) are attached at a distal end of the insertion part in such a manner that the electrodes are movable between an opened position and a closed position. Interference surfaces are spaced apart from each other in the opened position of the two electrodes, and remain spaced apart from each other, if the two electrodes are moved into the closed position.
