<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To completely cool respective color LED light sources and to shorten the length of a piping connecting the respective color LED light sources in a projection type video display device in which the LED light sources are cooled by a coolant. <P>SOLUTION: The projection type video display device 10 is equipped with a plurality of light source parts 11, a plurality of first rod integrators 41, a plurality of second rod integrators 42, a triangular prism 43, a plurality of liquid crystal panels 5, a dichroic prism 2, a projection lens 6, the piping 12, a plurality of radiators 14 and a plurality of ventilation fans 15. The triangular prism 43 is adopted so that a cooling system for the light source part 11B whose heating value is the largest is separated from cooling systems for other two light sources, and the light source part 11G comes close to the light source part 11R side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
