<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biological information acquisition device which can acquire high-precision biological information and which can facilitate downsizing, a biological information acquisition method, and a biometric authentication device. <P>SOLUTION: The biological information acquisition device, which acquires the biological information by irradiating the living body with light, comprises: a light source portion 6 which irradiates the living body with the light; a plurality of light-receiving elements 23 which receive light transmitted through the living body by irradiating the living body with the light from the light source portion 6, or light reflected from the living body; an openable/closable gate which is provided in each of the plurality of light-receiving elements 23 for receiving the light reflected from the living body; and an opening/closing control portion 18 which controls the opening/closing of the gate so that the intensities of the lights received by the plurality of light-receiving elements 23 can be each uniformalized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
