<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge lamp lighting device in which a large scale safety measures is not required, a great cost reduction and high reliability can be realized, and current balance of a cold cathode tube fluorescent lamp operated in parallel can be stabilized in high accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: The discharge lamp lighting device includes a first transformer T1 having a first winding P1 and a second winding S1 to input an AC voltage which is generated by controlling a pair of first switching elements Q1, Q2 connected to a first DC power supply E1 by a first control circuit 10a, a second transformer T2 having a primary winding P2 to input an AC voltage which is generated by controlling a pair of second switching elements Q3, Q4 connected to a second DC power supply E2 by a second control circuit 10b and a first secondary winding S21 and a second secondary winding S22 which are connected so that they may become a polarity to add to the voltage of the S1 of the T1, a cold cathode tube fluorescent lamp 11a which is connected in parallel to a series circuit of the S1 of the T1 and the S21 of the T2, and a cold-cathode tube fluorescent lamp 11b which is connected in parallel to a series circuit of the S1 of the T1 and the S22 of the T2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
