<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface hydrophilic member, the hydrophilic nature of which is high and also durability of the hydrophilic layer of which is favorable, a simple manufacturing method thereof and a lithographic printing plate original plate, by which printing scumming properties are improved and, even under severe printing conditions, no smudging develops in a printing material. <P>SOLUTION: This surface hydrophilic member has an amino propyl silane condensed layer, a polymerization initiating layer, which is formed by bonding a compound having a polymerization initiating site enabling to initiate radical polymerization and a support bonding part with the base material of a support through the support bonding part, and a hydrophilic layer, which is formed of a hydrophilic group and an unsaturated compound having a radical polymerizable part and turning into a graft polymer directly bonded with the polymerization initiating layer, in the order named on the base material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
