<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swash plate type variable capacity compressor of simple construction radially supporting a driving shaft in the thrusting direction without rattling while eliminating influences of high pressure in a crank chamber. <P>SOLUTION: The swash plate type variable capacity compressor 1 comprises a swash plate 13 arranged in a crank chamber 7 of a cylinder housing 2 so as to be rotated with the rotation of the driving shaft 5. Herein, the reciprocating stroke of each piston 8 is varied with the inclination of the swash plate 13 and the inclination of the swash plate 13 is adjusted by pressure in the crank chamber 7, as back pressure on each piston 8. The driving shaft 5 for receiving the input of driving force is rotatably supported at one end side via bearing parts 22, 23 by the cylinder housing 2 and supported at the other end side via a plunger 24 rotatably holding the other end 5b and slidably arranged in an other-end-side hole 21 by the cylinder housing 2, where the other-end-side hole 21 at the front end face side of the plunger 24 is communicated with a discharge chamber 17 via a high pressure introduction hole 29. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
