FILTRATION SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TONER PARTICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filtration system and method for efficiently separating toner particles from a toner particle dispersion liquid and cleaning the particles in a filtration system and a filtration method for toner particles produced by wet granulation, and to provide a filtration system and a filtration method for manufacturing a toner having excellent image characteristics by separating and cleaning toner particles from a toner particle dispersion liquid without being accompanied with clogging of a filter cloth or increase in a water content in the wet toner particles. SOLUTION: The filtration system to filter toner particles produced in a liquid dispersion medium from the liquid dispersion medium includes at least: a filtering means to separate toner particles from a slurry containing toner particles by a belt filter using a filter cloth to produce a cake of wet toner particles; and a filter cloth cleaning means to clean the filter cloth.
